About Us
Our dream can be seen on these blog sheets and on our Scrapbook which is being putting together as we head along our dream.
This dream started for us in January 2007 when visiting Oz for the second time. I think we all had thoughts about going, but it wasn't until March that DJP & JLP started to talk about whether we'd want to or not.
When, sadly the Chigborough was closed, we looked at where we were heading and thought about Oz more seriously but the first big mile stone started the ball rolling when Djp and J47ep talked and a plan developed over the next couple of months!
We could do it - Jlp goes out to work, Djp works as a Chef and J47ep eventually runs a B&B which if successful could mean Djp works there as well.
Research followed and by May we were heading to Austalia House in London for an immigration briefing - WE CAN DO IT!
More research followed and then the sums!

Why not to stay in the UK
Too many different cultures taking over - traditional british culture & values disappeared for good
Government not democratic - bringing in far reaching schemes such as NHS spine & EU without public discussion/referendums
National Insurance - what a waste. Pensions and NHS both mis-managed
Yob culture overtaking all of the UK across all age groups - politeness is a thing of the past
Pace of life too fast
Too much violent crime and not enough Police enforcement
All Courts and prison authorities far too soft on offenders

Reasons not to stay in uk
Davids Reasons
Too many hidden taxes being being put through back door by govenment
Government want targets on crime but do not sort out criminals courts too soft
Hospitals too many managers (accountants)
Immigration a joke
Far too much polical correctness
No discipline allowed by parents and schools
Human rights for everyone else but none for british people
Government governed by USA

THOUGHTS of j47ep
The way the country is being taxed more and more.
Feeling like a 2nd class citizen in my own country.
Fear of growing old and not being able to afford decent care should I need it.
The NHS (need I say more).
Having the feeling that Big Brother is watching me the whole time.
The weather.
The cost of living.
